To whom it may concern:

I wanted to recommend the services of The Plumbing Doctor to you and any local customers of yours who would be needing plumbing services. For the past twelve years, whenever I have had a need for plumbing repairs, The Plumbing Doctor's services have been prompt, reliable and economical. In fact, I began using their services when I called them after questioning a diagnosis and estimate by another company.

Bill Bennett, the President of the company stopped by and quickly fixed the problem for a quarter of the other firm's recommended price. They have reliably served all of my repair needs since then.

Thank you very much for all the time, effort and hard work The Plumbing Doctor(s) put into making our new tankless hot water heater a success. The installation was a major job, but went smoothly and was expertly accomplished-including the hole that had to be drilled through the stone on the outside of our house.

Then, however, we confronted mysteriously erratic hot/cold water. You and your associates came back time and time again, making adjustments. Finally, this week, you spent several hours adjusting and checking.

The hot water heater works wonderfully now-your persistence paid off, and we really appreciate your patience and willingness to ensure a quality job, even though it took more effort than we anticipated.

I never write letters after a workman has been to my house, but this time I had to make an exception.

We were informed that we had a leak “somewhere” on the service line from the meter to the house. Naturally I got several estimates, thank goodness I got one more from you, because the other two plumbers both said they would have to do some type of drywall damage to fix the problem, which of course that would lead to additional cost to repair the damages caused by the plumbers and naturally more cleanup of dust and upheaval of family routines.  Such events occurring during the holiday season with numerous family gatherings planned.

Your firm came in with the most direct route to the house, causing no additional costs and more importantly no more messes.  To top things off, your firm did the job for way less than your competitors!  Your staff was courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable.  They came in, did their job, cleaned up after themselves, and even watered my plants they had transplanted!

I was especially thankful that they were able to complete the job the way my husband wanted it done! Considering he’s very hard on contractors, you came in and did the job just like he wanted.

On December 29, we had two new Lavatory Faucets and two new Tub Handles/Shower Faucets installed in our home. We also had some other plumbing done in our basement. We were extremely pleased with the work done on these projects. Dr. Jeff and Dr. David were very professional; knowledgeable about the items they were working with; cleaned up the work area beautifully, and wasted not time but stuck to the projects at hand with hardly taking a lunch break. We have never had someone come into our home and work on projects such as this that have pleased us more. Enough good cannot be said about these two professional plumbers.

We would recommend them to anyone as in our opinion there is no better.

When my toilet backed up and started to overflow last week, I was at a loss about what to do.  Usually my husband handled these things but he recently passed away. 

When I contacted one of your office staff  (Wendy Bennett), she was very understanding and patient with me.  She explained what I needed to do to shut off the water and promised that a plumber would be at my house before noon. 

Not only was the plumber on time but he explained what he was going to do and how much it was going to cost before he started the job.  After he was finished, he even made sure the area was cleaned up.

I was completely satisfied with the service provided by the Plumbing Doctor but when I received a follow-up call from Miss Bennett the next day, to make sure I was happy with the work, I just had to write you.

Dear Dr. Bill,

I spoke with you in the parking lot of Woodlake Towers at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. I explained my problem--stopped up garbage disposal--and told you some little stones had gone down while I was repotting a plant.

You suggested trying to bang the stones through. Well, it worked! I got my long, thin screwdriver, a hammer, small flashlight, and bingo. I cannot thank you enough for the good advice. I called your business and Dr. Bill was at my home within the hour.   My home is one of the older homes in Falls Church, VA that has plumbing pipe running under the concrete slab the home is built on. I was afraid the repair was going to be expensive since the pipes were under the home; however, the repair cost was a lot less than I expected.. Dr. bill somehow cleared the obstruction in the pipes (roots and all) and my drain is now working great. The water drains much faster. I was very impressed with the service, and knowledge of Dr. Bill.  I have since recommended The Plumbing Doctor to my friends and coworkers.

I had a leak in my basement and wanted to get a plumber over right away. I called The plumbing Doctor and within 2 hours they were knocking at my door. What was even better was that I was expecting to replace a pipe and instead all I need was to tighten the nut, which normally gets loose after many years. While they were at my house they checked out my water heater and washing machine hoses to make sure everything was in proper working order. He snaked it 4 times and water was flowing again. He was courteous, called to let me know he was on his way, and the cost was less than I expected. I will definitely call them again, especially with a 60 year old house, I'm sure I'll need to.
